Module A
What is a right?
Constitution, statute, handbook, and platform — four different documents.
A right in this curriculum means a claim written in a constitution or statute that a public official must respect. A school handbook is a rulebook. A platform’s terms are a contract. They are not the same thing.
When a page is about United States law, it says so. When a page is about a principle that appears in many systems — speech, fair process, limits on searches — it says that too, and tells you to check the rule where you live.
Find the text first. Name the institution second: public school, private school, platform, employer, court.
